SKI AND SNOWBOARD GUIDE - TRAINING COURSES

The ski guide/snowboard guide training is regulated by law. The implementation of the training courses to prepare for the ski/snowboard guide examination is assigned to the county (land) ski instructor associations. 

Requirements Ski Guide:

• Successfully completed Graduate Ski Instructor examination (or equivalent recognised examination)

Requirements Snowboard Guide:

• Successfully completed Graduate Snowboard Instructor exam (or equivalent recognised examination)

Ski guide/snowboard guide – additional requirements:

• Successfully completed qualifying test
• Medical certificate of physical fitness for this course (must be enclosed with the application)
• Presentation of a tour protocol of 10 ski tours with a minimum 800 vertical metres (must be shown at the qualifying exam)
